    ThoughtsI think we should design a new vending machine that replaces the electro-mechanical components with a genetically engineered gnome. So when you put the money in, he counts it to make sure you've got enough, and then he climbs up the shelves to fetch your candy bar. Since he lives in the machine filled with food and doesn't eat much, he can sustain himself on a candy bar or two.
