As part of a well-publicized, spam-fighting campaign, AOL again raffles off assets seized from spammers to customers.
Despite the marketing overtones here, you have to admit this is pretty cool. It sends a rather loud message: "If you spam, we can take your stuff earned from it." Taking things like the Hummer and Porsche probably have more of an emotional impact on the spammer than simply a cash settlement that might be considered just the cost of doing business.
